It's time to start looking at selling all of my fish, and in particular these two. I'm moving overseas, so it's not like I want to get rid of them :(

Mr. Eel, while not a creative name, is a stunning Tessellata moray eel. His size is tough to get a perfect measurement, but he is rather large. He is also incredibly healthy, eating nearly any offering at any time. Hand feed this guy, he's a nice guy :)
I'm working on new pictures, these are from the first week.

The lion is of the black volitan variety. He is quite large as well, around 9" and growing. He is very healthy and eats like a monster. He eats frozen food or dried brine shrimp (much cheaper). His body is pretty dark and his white spots are VERY bright. My wife calls him starry night because of this.

Side note, I'm friendly on negotiating. Explain your setup, I'm really sad about getting rid of these guys :( I want to make sure they have a good home.

Ya since you can see the eel ohh so well. He said about for you sad cry baby. Bump for some very nice looking animals and good luck with the move. And for price me a non salt Guy can look online and see them for 160.00 at 6 inches, of course it takes a special person to take a large animal but that's how the games is and usually you have to sell for what you can get but still work a little with our fellow members here vs just opening your mouth about nothing, sorry seller.

Tess looks under 24in in that picture and really skinny

Price should be around 150

Good luck.

Right above the photo it says the picture is from the first week I had him, when he was about 22", and that I will get more when I can.

Thanks didysis.

I'll get better pictures while I feed him today.

Much better, looks like you've kept him well.

Large eels are almost given away. Everyone wants one and when true responsibility comes they sell them at a size that is more difficult for people to handle. Babies are worth more than anything over 24in. So try evaluating your own condescending run on paragraph a bit more before posting next time. ( not directed at OP )

I've raised two morays over 6ft and they now swim in the Houston aquarium. I house three tesselatas, a giant, and a green.

If you drop the price and ask for a good home you will find better results. Just speaking from personal experience, as I am usually the one rehoming large eels.

Have you tried seeking professional care for the eel? This would be best for him and many places are interested in tesselatas over anything else.

Did you not read the second post? Seriously, it's getting kind of annoying now.

I already have a potential buyer, but I absolutely don't want to ship him.
