If u had the opportunity to build a 300,000 gal lake what kind of fish would u want inhabiting it?

Northern Pike, Flathead and Channel Catfish, Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Crappie, Perch, Assorted Sunfish, Sterile grass carp. Boom. American Alligator. lol

Lots and lots of native aquatic plants, lily pads, and duckweed. carp are there to keep that under control. also a reproducing shad and crawfish population.

imagine the water changes... (kidding)

With that size, you would seldom see any at all. I would stock game fish and use the lake as a food source. Crappie, Variety of Bass, Perch, Bluegill etc..
