Ok I am getting a 300 gal (290to be exact) on saturday. The fish i have now are Crenicichla: Lepidota-1 and Johanna-4. How should i build my SA stocklist aggressive or peaceful for my pikes? Aggressive stocklist: 'Aequidens' rivulatus, Amphilophus festae, and a trimaculatum. Peaceful: Hoplarchus psittacus, Hypselecara temporalis, and a Satanoperca jurupari?
What do you guys think yes, no, better suggestions, i will consider. Thanks

:cry:can i please get some feedback?

i prefer the more peacefull because that's what i have, but i've been love the looks of more aggresive CAs. will you have any other tanks? what are the dimensions of the tank? id go something like a group of 6 or so larger geos, the psittacus and a severum/uaru or two.

thanks for the suggestions and posting. the dimensions are 78x24x36T. Yes i will have others 120, 110, and a 75 i can rearrange or sell some of my others. i like the colors of the aggressive too. I think i may just use one of my 100 gal tanks and make an aggressive CA tank, and keep the pikes in a peaceful environment.

how about some peacock bass?

^ agreed. From what I've seen if you want aggressive fish in a tank that size you get a number of aggressive fish to balance everything out. with your choices it seems like the aggressive ones will claim their territories and the peaceful fish will get terrorized where ever they go. I really like the previous suggestion. If I remember correctly, Sean's tank is something like what he suggested and it is something else.

would you classify pikes as aggressive?

I would go aggressive, but thats just how i roll. Trimacs can be stone cold kiilers and festae not to far behind.

I see that in your Gallery, I must admit the aggressive would probably have more actions.

how many of these fish listed can i keep full grown in my 300 gallon
