300 gallon acrylic tank setup

I recently purchased a 300 gallon acrylic tank that was set up for saltwater with a refugium underneath. I was wondering what all I should use to clean the tank before setup. I was also told I cannot do this because the tank has absorbed the salt and what not. Also any recommendations for filter systems, I was contemplating getting a sump system but not really sure how this works. Any input is greatly appreciated

Rinse it and you should be good. I put marine salt in small doses in my fw tanks. Plus never heard of acrylic soaking up salt.
