i just set up a 300 gal tank on cinder blocks and i am planning on building a nice front piece to hide the cinder blocks, the only thing is that i have no room under there to manuver. my sump just barley fits

i need to put a micron filter next to my sump when i get a chance but i can hardly fit anything in there and i dont want it exposed

i need some creative thinking i want to see what you guys have used for your acrylic tank stands

excuse the mess in the pic, thats after 6 hours and a case of corona

Nice corner tank! I would cut 3 pieces of 3/4" plywood the shape of the bottom of the tank. I would use two for the top and one for the bottom. I would then cut 2X4's to stand vertically in between the plywood at the height you want the stand to be. I would then space the 2X4's on 12 inch centers. You need to build a header over any doors you put in it. You can then use 1/4 inch or thicker plywood to cover the outside. I built one this way for my 200 gallon tank. I had to put my sump inside it while I was building it. I would also run 2X4's under the top two pieces of plywood like floor joist to support the center of the tank.
