I've been gone for a bit but I'm back. This is my new US native hill stream aquarium! The fish that I have that are going in are Rainbow shiner, Central stone roller, Southern red belly dace, log perch, Tadpole madtom, and Tessellated darter. I would like to add some more darter species and some other minnow species. If anyone can get me warpaint shiners, mountain red belly dace, blue head chub or other south eastern species please message me.

Nice tank! Are you going to try and make a linear flow system or just use wavemakers?

Live anywhere close to SD? I know recently the emerald shinners have been spawning in the river in town here. Lol just need a cast net and your all set. They may not be the best looking fish but they are a native specie none the less.

I think I am using a linear flow system. The pump for the spray bar is on the other end of the tank Behind the sponge on the left side along with the intake for the filter I also plan to add more larger wave makers to increase flow.

I'm in Minnesota I am planing on making a trip out that direction for red fin shiners and some other species in the rock river. That being said I don't plan on leaving the state myself because I don't want to break any local laws I don't know and native minnows can be a touchy subject. I know my local laws well though so if I see any emeralds when I'm there looking for the red fin I'll be sure to add those to the tank.

Set up is looking great, thanks for sharing the steps to the set up!

More details on the filter set up please. It looks like you are using a piece of Matala filter media as a HMF with the FX4 intake behind it? Also appears you made a spray bar?
