This is my $40 pond. It was originally to be used in the house but i a had a leak i couldn't find. (thank you to all that helped me)
I bought this 10 x 10 20mil liner off of e-bay for $37 + $2 for insurance.
I wasn't home when fed-ex dropped it off. The box had a large hole in the bottom left corner and the liner was scuffed but didn't look like a tear or hole. The thing was just stuffed in the box with no wrapping material put around it. Very unprofessional way to ship something but you do get what you pay for.
I had ordered the 20 mil. because it was gonna be inside out of the sun and elements. Now it's outside on the deck. This project was like most of mine so it was built using recycled building materials but when it is finished noone will be the wiser.
Here is a picture of the side supports.

Starting to frame the pond.

Starting to take shape.

I used 3/4" plywood for the bottom.

Bottom installed.

Installed and filled on the deck.

Still need trim and paint.

Canopy built to cut down on the amount of sun it gets.

The inside dimensions are 5' Long x 4' Wide x 2' Deep.
I lined it with several layers of 5 mil. wrap and a tarp.
The driftwood is from a nearby lake. I'd like to get 2 small red-eared sliders and put a couple of fish in it.
The filter is not built yet, so right now i'm running a small pump and a little bit of aeration in it. We've been having weather in the 50's and now we got snow again so it's a typical year so far. Usually it doesn't snow until April 1st the opening day of trout. LOL
Thank you for reading this and all comments are welcome.
