In Your Imagination
I have a hamemade 300??gallon tank, 10ft by 6ft by 20inches tall Would this be sutibal to house a silver aro for life? Plus, how many oscars can I have with it?

I calculated close to 750 gallons from what you say the dimensions are. In that case you have no problem housing a couple aro's if you wanted to. I'm sure it depends on size and each individual fish whether you can mix in oscars with your aro's.

yep 748.5 gallons
stock it up bro that is huge

Man that's awesome would love to have that pond/tank. With a small Silver the oscars may bother it if they are bigger. I would get a 6" silver and some 2-3" oscars you will be fine. In that tank of yours you'll have monster fish in just a few months.

Sorry, those were the wrong measurements, the real interor measurments is 4ft by 8ft by 20 inches tall but I will only put 17 inches of water so it will end up being 339.19488gallons

Nice, post a pix...I'm just so curious to see this set up. :D:popcorn:

I'm thinking 2 Silver Aros, 2 Oscars, and a Jack Dempsey.

Not so sure about the jack dempsey, silvers definately, oscar might make the water a little dirty though other then that it should work fine.
