Is there a way to stick a window in the wall of a 300 gallon rubbermaid stocktank. I would like to watch my pacu from the side like a normal aquarium. I was thinking about the large curved part on the top section. How would I go about doing that?

i was thinking about this all day and i was thinking you could prbly do it but then i though about how it has the bumps and idk how you could put the glass/acrylic on with closing those completly. So maybe if you can bend the arcrylic to the shape then u could do it but other than that prbly a no go and just save money for a tank :(

maybe if you could find one that had a straight side so it was more of an oval shape and u put the window on the straight long side, would be very hard to do

there was a guy who did a plexi glass window on a stock tank. used screw's and silicone to hold it in place. looked great and it worked.

Have a link or a pic?

I imagine that it would be very difficult in a 300g rubbermaid because the sides are kind of stepped. The sides would almost have to be smooth and flat for it to work.

I agree....... It would be a very narrow window.

ahh sounds easy... just cut out a section, buy some plexi glass... heat it a little to give it a bend... then just use some sealant :)
