Hi all , i have question if my stand will be able to support my 300 gallon glass tank, i will only be using recycled steel, the steel i got were angle bars, 2.5 inches and 4.5mm thick, this will be used as horizontal supports, while for vertical supports i will have six of them, the steel that is going to be used here are 2.5 inches Galvanized steel tube that is 4.5mm thick, my welder said that it would support my tank, i apologize for not having pictures.the recycled steel i got where still straight and true, as my welder have evaluated it, and i dont have any options to get anymore steel due to money constraints, TIA for all your inputs

Nice size tank, what are you using for braces against lateral movement, what are the base of the legs going to be on, an awful lot of weight on a very small surface area

Seam reasonable.
1.5" tube at .08" wall thickness, holds both my 75 gallons.
It will hold. Just keep close eye out for weld pull. Stagger all your welds.
