Just scored an awesome 300 gallon glass tank on CL for $300. Going to pick it up tomorrow. The idea was to get it, and just have it sit in the living room against the wall until we find a stand to get the tank running...
Well, today we ran to maryland to get an industrial dehumidifier for the basement, and we decided to stop at the house of tropicals in Glenn Burnie. Wasn't too bad..
I got to see a real life blue eyed pleco. It was $1400!
Then on the way home, we took a 30 minute detour to go to the Pet Place in Lancaster. We went back to see if they maybe had a stand or something that would work for the 300.
We found one! All black, wave front stand. Price $999.99- on sale for $227.99 simply because there was scratches on the trim showing the real wood color. Nothing not fixable. We told the guy we wanted it, and he's like, "ok, I'll write it up- AND, I'll give it to you for $200."
