yes of course, how long do you think it is good if I started with say a 4-6 inch arowana? I know it’s the type of thing to play by ear but maybe an estimate? My other option is a 300 gallon circle with 6 foot diameter

six foot circular will last you a good bit of time given, its atleast two foot high. The 5x3 will be good for about two years. Never good to play by ear more like plan ahead haha.
Appreciate the help, I may just go ahead and do the 6 foot circular, I think it’s 23 inches deep? I’m still not sure, I own both so who knows what I’ll decide on. And yes I hear you on the planning ahead, what permanent size enclosure do I need to prepare for? Also don’t know if you saw but I have a giant gourami as well and would like to possibly have a datnoid/butterfly peacock bass or even a spotted gar. I’m new to all the big freshwater stuff but assuming it won’t be bad since I already do large saltwater tanks well
