I have a few questions about stocking my tank. I want to put my male dovii in it for sure. He is about 14 inches and he is very aggressive towards people but not highley aggressive towards other fish. I was wondering if the tank is big enough to add in a RTC who is around 12 inches. I also wanted to add some bigger cichlids such as a jag and my RD who is very aggressive towards people and other fish and around 10 inches.

Datnoid.... RAy..... for being cool
Wolffish..... Barracuda.. mbu puffer for aggressiveness/behavior

if you think your cichlids are mellow enough, I might try a ray on the bottom.

A ray has definetly crossed my mind.
well, I think you could do one if your cichlids are social enough. don't ask me for info, i've never kept rays, but there a plenty that have, like rallysman and redtailfool. care to chime in, fellas?

i think it would work but i wouldent add anything else not even a pleco lol.But u wont kno until u try.some reddevil have been known to pair up in 76 gallons i heard so i guess anythings possible.:)

I say go for it 3 big mean cichlids plus a rtc in a 300 i think it sounds just right i would not risk the ray they are expensive but a common pleco would not be a big loss if it did not make it lol.

if by RTC you mean Red Tailed Catfish I would sell him now while he is small enought that somebody would take him. I'm assuming your 300 is 24". Wouldn't wanna be the 36" fish trying to turn around in there

i've seen a pic of one at a whole four feet before! I wouldn't try an RTC in anything smaller than 8-9 feet long by 4-5 feet wide.
