What kind of Quietone sub pump do I need for a 300Gl tank I was thinking of using one Quietone 3000 and one quietone 4000 Im kinda concerned about Electricity do I need 2 pumps or just one? stocking is 1 aro and some big loaches and some B/parrots? Thanks.

i use 2 water blasters 7000. originally had quiet one 9000s on these but were too noisy. waste of money. go with water blaster 7000. super quiet, energy efficient and easy to operate. A+++
x2. That's really what you should be looking at before trying to decide on how many pumps.
X3. Is you tank drilled or will you be using HOB/DIY overflows? Knowing the capacity of your overflow system will help you choose a pump to suit your setup.
X4- know your overflow capacity before you choose a pump. unless you want to buy a Reeflo Hammerhead from me and use a ballvalve to "dial it back" as needed 
does your tank have an overflow box? if so, some suggest that they can drain a max of 100 gallons per hour per inch of teeth (assuming it is plumbed to match the teeth). but typical is 80% of that or 800 gallons per hour with 10" of teeth... check out this site http://barraquatic.com/overflows.php
