Finally a pic !!!!
Congrats man

Did you figure out whats going in it ?

Wow that's a really nice tank, and wish I could get a stand like that here. What are you going to do for filtration?

Congrats, that is a beautiful tank, I too would love to know what your plans are to put in it. I recently was able to purchase what I would call my dream tank for an incredible deal from Craigslist. It is a 240 Starfire glass tank with 2 factory overflows. I hope to be moving soon so I won't set it up until I get to my new place. Let me tell you that this tank is so much heavier than I thought. It took 4 adult men to get it out of my truck and into my den. You can bet it won't be moved again until it's going to the new house, but just seeing it dry everyday is killin me, lol!!!!!

Thanks gang.

I'm pretty much settled on Centrals since my well water is so hard. I'm just having a hard time with a stock list. I want to keep EVERYTHING I SEE! LOL

I bought a used 60 gallon acrylic sump a couple of years ago on Craigslist and re-worked it to run as a wet/dry. I had to make the drip tray and different components. I've been searching every since for a good used 8 foot tank, got tired of waiting, and had one made.

It was fun getting it in MY basement thought.

We had to take it out the back of the garage, down a 12 foot hill, and into my lower level man cave from the back of the house.

We strapped the tank to an ice shanty ski set up, tie it to the back of the truck, and lowered it down the hill with the truck. THEN we drank some beer. Okay, many beers.

The door on the back of the house is the one visible from inside at the end of the tank.
