3000 GPH pump

I have a pump that is 3000 GPH whats the min tank size that it could be used with without the water being too insanely fast? Im just wondering

240G 8x2x2 would be the absolute minimum I'd consider, with the return flow spread by a very long spray bar.

yea, also take into account the headheight and other resistances so if you have a 4-5ft headheight you may realistically be at 25-2650 GPH

you can put a ball valve on the OUTPUT. This actually uses less electricty and slows the flow. NEVER put a ball valve on the INPUT.
