My 300g wide from Glasscages was delivered today!!! Was pretty stressed about the delivery process since I've read a couple people's stories of the tanks not coming off the truck once they get to the house. Fortunately, I had a great driver and he said 'this thing's coming off the truck no matter what'. My kind of attitude. Of course it didn't hurt that I had a friend and an extra pallet jack on hand. Wheeled it into my garage where it will stay for a couple weeks, until the move into the house. The whole experience couldn't have gone better...

Here's a pic of my excited 3 year old daughter next to the tank.

Congrats, hope my daughter gets that excited.

What exactly do you mean wouldn't come off the truck? There is no end to the Storm I would brew up if I paid for delivery and for what ever reason it wouldn't come off the truck.

I bet that thing is a beast weight wise, the 500 Acrylic I got was a ton somewhere close to 900Lbs empty I would guess your 300 is around what like 600lbs to 900lbs?

guessing its 96x30x30

dimensions, filtration, stand, stock PICS, PICS and more PICS !!!!!!! Welcome to the club!

close, nfored. and thanks mr. winkle. Will have pics when there's more to see.

dimensions 96"x30"x25" w/ built in drilled overflows and starfire glass on the front and sides.

75 gallon sump for filtration with auto drip system for w/c.

stocking will be an amazon theme, with Aquaterra rainforest background. Angels, Altifrons & True Hystrix and if the conditions are right some discus.

I've seen a couple other glasscages threads where the truck shows up and they couldn't get it off so they had to take it back to the warehouse and make other arrangements. I was clear w/ them that I wanted a liftgate & pallet jack to offload this, so I paid $60 extra for that service. I wasn't going to have that happen, I was determined to get it off the truck, and fortunately, so was my driver.

The tank is probably about 700lbs... the whole delivery w/ acrylic sump & wood pallet, etc was 840lbs...

Awesome tank, but your daughter will eventually outgrow it, you won't be able to keep her in it for more than a year or two.
