Sharing my fav fish, had him since last July at 3", he's over 14" now and starting to beef up. Simple lagoon setup, sand substrate with wood and lots of American Val's

Stopped by and saw set up in person. This pic actually does little justice to setup. Very nice fish and live plants. Good look Thai.

Great setup love it :D has he been any trouble with tankmates ? Especially the gar I always imagined baby gars to get smashed by jardini that's why I've never bothered to house one with any of mine

He leaves the gar and dats alone, had 6 silver dollars in with him as well, he killed one and left the rest alone for about 4 months until I removed them the other day. When he was 10" and in a 110 he did kill 18 tinfoil barbs and 5 silver dollars overnight.

He's mellowed out now. Also leaves loaches alone

Hahaha sounds familiar all my jardini have had issues with silver fish tinfoils have no chance , my latest has killed four of them and a dat :( , hes in with two big silver dollars atm but started snapping at them
my jar that I lost last year was six year old and 24" he killed and ate loads of tankmates all different species
you've got plenty of space that helps , again great setup you've got love the flow of the plants for him to swim between :)

This is by far one of the cleanest, neatest aquascapes I've seen.

Looks awesome Thai!!!
