Secured a 96x24x30 (thats what the Lady said im hoping its 96x30x24, gonna find out tomorrow) and was wondering what cat I should do. I would like a Wyckii but they grow to large I believe and are too aggressive. How about a ARTC since they are related. Tankmates will be pike cichlids, barracuda, 2 Monoc Pbass, CL's, CK, LSN, and some birchirs....

why not do a SA cat since all ur other fish are going to be. would be easier to keep water param to suit all the fish. plus i'm weird and don't like keeping fish that couldn't meet in the wild together

i think you mean tankmates WON'T be those fish most are to smalland will be eaten and don't forget that those cats have been known to have VERY bad attitudes and will most likely wipe out any tankmates i'd keep those fish and go with one of these
tigrinus
achara catfish
group of sun catfish
or another pimelodus
and i think thats more then 300 gallons plus id add some more cichlids thats a long tank and has great potential

skylar till pics:ROFL: j/k.... You started it now the wrath has come upon you!!

But seriously. I would go with a species that is common to the fish you are keeping or mabye a synno species. Or you could just put the wyckii in their and hope all goes well.( but not for long)

haha yeah, im not gonna get the 300G. it had a gash in it. im just gonna wait till i find the dimensions i want or build one here soon. im really looking for a 6x3x2 or a 6x4x2 for rays...and a larger foot print...

That sucks, that would have been a awesome tank. Better safe that sorry though.

thats exactly what I was thinking. IM talking to milkman407 about building myself a tank though, 6x3x2 or a 6x4x2 because I wanna do some kind of Large catfish either a TSN or a Wyckii + the other fish I have....the wyckii is very aggressive so we will see with time. My LFS has one for 8 bucks I think i may pick it up tomorrow and grow it out
