First off if i get this tank once i buy my new house the dimensions will be 120" x 24" x 24"

I have these fish that I like:

Cichlids: Dovii(nic.sp), Trimac, Jaguar, Oscar, Salvini, Red terror(female) , blackbelt, red texas, green terror, Vieja synspilum, Red Tiger Mota, Poleni, friedricksthalli 'La Ceiba' .

Catfish: Jaguar catfish,Striped Rapheals (something that wont kill this)

Possible to try a large fire eel?

Which would you choose out of that list and how many?

No Dovii. and from what I know P. sp. "La Ceiba" can be super nasty towards everything... I have 4 growing out atm.. Fire eel is a big risk, this stock is quite intense and I doubt you could pull it off....... Try and narrow down what you really like and for sure want, then go from there because it all depends on which fish you choose...

Go for the more mellow fish, that way you can have more, and less chance of having problems....my festea was a good gal, as were my 2 male GTs, a male severums and my arow and silver dollars in a 4ft tank (this was a year ago before i got back into fish last month lol), so if you stick to those fish i dont see why it wouldnt work...

In my 240 I house 5 aggressive fish-if you get dovii-try a female. I think a mix like Jag, Festae, Black Belt, Escondido, would work.

Ok, so just so i understand more about dovii.
(1)You said no dovii, what if it was a pair, would they kill the jaguar cat if they weren't breeding?
(2) and say a single male dovii, what would you keep with a single male dovii. I know a decent amount about the dovii, but your experiences with them will all vary so possiblity of either of these two choices? (everytime i look at muds dovii i want one lol (all your fault) I know a divider is gonna be a must with the pair, just incase. I more then likely wouldn't want a pair but just checking my options, a pair of those things rarely work from what i read.

I've seen quite a few dovii setups with red terrors, do these go well or is it just luck?

And its so hard picking a few or a pair from that list. All such nice looking fish but if i had to narrow it down.

Trimac, Dovii (nic sp), Red Terror ,Freddy 'La Ceiba'

I say go for it just make sure your Dovii is female-anytime I have mixed dovii with my others they have always been female and it has worked.

Thats a really nasty list of fish there dude... like people have said which fish do you really want - looks, personality ect because all of these are fairly intolerant of others. If you want more fish then less imo leave the dovii alone.
