Some Marineland stuff cheaper there too, cheaper than p mart anyway...

I have read on this board several times that a lot of the experienced aquarests prefer the Hagar heaters over the Eheim / Jegar heaters. Being stubborn I bought the less expensive Eheim heaters.... guess what? They were right, I now trust them when they say Hagar heaters are better. I seem to get 2 - 5 years out of a Eheim heater. I have never had a hager heater fail on me. Just my $.02!
 
2 years of use is on the low side for an Eheim. I've had 1 out of 6 quit working (filament no longer heater) after 2 years. To get 5 years out of any brand heater purchased in the last 5 years is still pretty good.

I've been in the hobby for a long time, and have never heard of the Hagar/Hager brand.
Can't even find it on a Google search.
