I have a 30''+ Black arowana in a 400 gallon tank. i noticed two days ago he was gasping. He tends to sit towards the top of the tank. He didnt eat when i fed the tank this morning. I'm just looking for some advice. i was thinking of taking him out of the tank and making sure he doesn't have anything in his throught. his stomach looks empty and i dont want to stress him anymore. I have watched the tank and have seen my jardini nip at him. he has some fine damage, possibly just stress. maybe a diesease??? if so what to treat it with? waters @82 and i have added salt. did several water changes. ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 40. thanks for you help.
