30g African?

I know i cant keep them in there for too long but my girlfriend and her roommates want an African Setup in there apartment, and i have the bigger tanks to accomadate them. But just wondering want kinds you all would get. was thinking 3-4 Zebra or something like that maybe Kenyi dont know, BUT REMEMBER I HAVE BIGGER TANKS FOR THESE FISH TO MOVE TO.

If you get either 12-15 Demasoni's or Saulosi's (~4M-8-10F) and have a species only tank you wont have to transfer them and you wont be short of action. The tanks can look spectacular

True...IMO the best looking african tanks are the one species setups...they are stunning. I don't really enjoy africans that much, but one day I'll go for a Brichardi tank. Would be sweet...those fish look good.

so buy baby n.birchardis and put them in there untill they bet bigger then put them in your bigger tank when they cant stay in the 30gal anymore?

If you did zebras or kenyis I wouldnt do more then 5 and they would have to be moved when they grow - but keep in mind they grow decently fast. I would suggest fish that stay smaller Demasoni or Saulosi would both be good as suggested before. You could also try shell dwellers of dwarf morphs of julies or possibly afra.
