30g stocking

My mom's getting me a 30g tank for back to school, but I have no clue what to stock it with. My current plan is as follows:

3 upside down catfish- 10 gallons
1 "monster" fish-at max using 15 gallons (peacock eel, knifefish, ext)
1 small pleco (zebra if possible) -5 gallons

My bro wants me to have 3 weather loaches and a goldfish

Ur gonna have to get a bigger tank in a few months tho with that stock

a realitivly small knife is the african knife, and your brother has a good idea with the weather loach they r kinda cool

those fish will be much too large for a 30 gallon.
Think of getting some dwarf cichlids, tetras, corys, rams, something like that

one of my personal favs that i would stoc a 30 with are silver dollars theyre good eaters and they almost never stop patroling the tank

get a couple black ghost knifes and some tiger barbs

I want an Eel, and my LFS only stocks peacocks.
Any recommendations that go with a pretty eel?
But if I can't ever decide, I always wanted a tank dedicated to Zebra danios. XD

if you live in SB theres a pet shop that sells 10 zebra danios for $1
they have the gold zebras and reg. zebras

The 1"/gal rule won't work with that stock. I think a Peacock Eel would be fine in there. And maybe get some Dwarf Gouramis to go in there too.
