I have a 30gal sterilite container that i'm using for feeders, currently in fry form.
They're less than 1 cm, and i have a fresh batch of eggs on a rock.
Question is, anyone have an idea on how I might seperate the new-coming fry from the 3 week olds in this sterilite container?
I'm currently kicking around the ideas of custom cut eggcrate (because the bins have a narrowing design) wrapped in a fine silk screen.
My other idea was to take another smaller sterilite container, modify the brim to be held with clips along the brim of the bigger container. (essentally a container in container using the bigger one's support systems.)
I would have no idea where, what size, or shape holes i would cut into this for circulation.
Any ideas? My biggest problems are the fry getting through, and I don't want to use a breeding net because i feel the larger fry will attempt to suck the new fry through the net, turning the breeding net into a feeding net.
