Just wondering if its big enough for some ctenopoma.
I was going to put discus in it but I really like ambush predators like the ctenopoma.
Would I be able to put more than one in there? What would go well with it?
I havent read a whole lot about ctenopoma but I find them very interesting.

I think taht would be fine, ive had 6 and am now down to 3 as my silver arowana and Dats picked 3 off when they were small, they are now about 3" and look awesome. they do like each others company and some plants to hide in.

what are you noticing for a growth rate? mine seems to have grown very little over the month ive had the guy

we'll they get 6'' but don't move to fast they just slide up to pray and inhale it so i'd say you could keep one in there for a long time

Cool.
If I can get my hands one one, I might put it in there.
Just looking at alot of the options I have for this tank.
Thanks guys.

ive got 2, and after 2 years my biggest one is abotu 4.5 in. slow growers, but they really are an awesome feesh!
Good luck youll like them

Tank size is fine

Yeah just add some floating plants & live fish for it to stalk once & awhile. If you add 50 or so guppies you'll have a self replenishing food supply.

It's really quite tempting.

I'll have to see what the "higher-ups" have to say.
