So my landlord gave me his 33 gallon flatback with stand. He had been using up until 3 weeks ago when his filter broke and he lost the fish and took it down. So i took it to upgrade my apistogramma tank. So after leveling the stand(uneven floor) i set the tank up and did a leak test just to be safe. I began scraping down the sides to clean off some of the grime and i noticed the 2 back corners have no bead of silcon on them. Its just the 2 pieces of glass coming together. It hasnt leaked at all and i know he has had it set up for 5 years or something.

So do they normally come like this, does anyone think it will be a problem in the future?

i should mention that there is silicon in between the glass holding it together, its just not the typical thick bead in the corner i normally see.

I had an old 55 where the bead peeled away and it continued to hold water for several years.
