33 gallon nature aquarium help?

Hey guys...
Got a 33 long today from a LFS. The dimensions are LxWxH 48 x 13 x 12".

With a long low tank like this, I am a little troubled as to how to aquascape it.

I would like something like this:

Driftwood set up on one side branching to the other with open space on the end.

Can anyone suggest anything else or post some more pictures of nature tanks of this dimension? Interested in a driftwood layout, not rocks. More pictures similar to the setup above would be welcome.

the picture you posted isnt showing up. anyway, low tanks like that are best for Iwagumi setups, not much else you can do with the low height. a low growing foreground plants would look sweet. also check out www.plantedtank.net, that's where i spend a lot of my time

That picture should show up. I have had good success on running decent lighting, fertilizers, and flourish excel. Any plant that requires much more than that doesn't really interest me anyway.
