I came across one of these tanks leaking a few years ago and almost went for it, but passed. I can't find anything about the size online. This one was made by perfect in 2005. From what I could find 2 years ago they only made a few as store displays. Perfecto, now marineland, told me they never made them when I inquired, but it has the perfecto sticker under the frame. My guess is they are too tall which is why the frame is cracked on this one. At petsmart they now use it in a 26" tall version with the same 2" overflow as a display.

Anyway, I found another and decided to go for it. It is the exact footprint of my 72 aga bowfront which is 22" tall, but is 11" taller at 33". A standard 110 is 30" tall in comparison. It needs some work, but hopefully will make an awesome display tank.

I ordered a new top frame to replace the cracked one, it should be coming in next wednesday. The sides are blue which will have to be scraped off.

When used as a store display it uses a huge 2" drain into a sump that sits directly behind the tank at tank level. I want it as close to the wall as possible so the 2" elbow sticking out 6" behind the tank wont work. I will probably try to rig a reducer setup to get the 2" bulkhead down to about 1.25" to keep it as tight to the tank as possible. Currently I am running a 1" drain with a single megaflow sump and mag 7, so I am not sure if the sump can handle much more flow.

In the pics it looks normal sized, but 33" is TALL, guess I will have to get some tongs or a snorkel to reach the bottom:)

1" pipe insede the drain after the overflow was removed.

Bulkhead cut down flush. Hopefully I can come up with a smaller elbow connection tight against the tank.

This is the 72 its replacing. I am still trying to picture this tank a full 50% taller.
