Metal stand on wheels

Previous owner supposedly had insulation over the stand without plywood top. Will that work?

Filtration: Thinking of going with 120 gallon sump and ultima 2000.

I would probably brace it with wood or metal, simply because tanks don't always have the greatest tolerance to fatigue

Most folks put their acrylic tanks on plywood. Also I’m not sure having those wheels is a great idea. Puts all the weight on those focus points and not sure how durable they are.

I wouldn’t put an ultima 2000 on your tank. You need to use a certain amount of water to backflush the filter and you’ll probably use like 200-250g for backflushing.

I use an ultima 2000 on my 450 with sump and love it but might be overkill here.

The plywood is my big issue - seems sketchy without it to me.
