Been working, off and on, on this 336 Gallon (72"L x 36"W x 30"H) All-In-One Acrylic Aquarium and Stand (74"L x 37"W x 30"H) that I picked up earlier this year. There was nothing wrong with it to begin with. Was planning to make it a show tank so I polished/buffed the outside of the acrylic tank and stripped down/sanded the stand in order to refinish it to show quality. All of that came to a halt last week when the tank was moved off of the stand to a folding table so that I could do one more round of sanding to the top of the stand (to remove one last round of wood filler) before painting it.

As you can see, the folding table broke/collapsed 15 minutes after moving the acrylic tank onto it and the aquarium sustained multiple cracks. With that, I have decided to abandon this project and offer it up for sale for anyone interested in either repairing the acrylic tank (was told that it can be done) or cannibalizing it for the acrylic panels and finishing the pine stand to near furniture grade (just needs a final sanding of the top/doors and paint).

I am asking $375 Firm for the tank & stand and Will Not sell them separately. Unfortunately, I have spent nearly $1400 for the setup and materials for refinishing and cannot go any lower. Pick Up Only in West Covina, CA 91790. If you only need the tank or stand, I suggest that you team up with another MFKer who is interested in the other item and pick both things up in one shot. Thanks for understanding my disappointment as this Aquarium Setup is waiting for that one person/persons to score on. Please call or text Chuck at (626)four seven five-5543 only if you're serious in the combo.

Oh, how frustrating! I'm sure your neighbors heard a few choice words when that happened.

That is a beautiful setup and a great deal for someone to pick up. That front crack should actually be fairly easy to fix. Use some of that high viscosity acrylic cement in a pipette and it should wick right into the crack top to bottom. Put a 1" square rod in the corner and seal it in using the same method. Should be as strong as new.
