Hey, everyone.

I've just had a tank become free, which measures 33" long, 18" deep, and 22" tall. I'd like to do something with some African cichlids, preferably ones like Aulonocara baenschi.

If you had a tank of this size, how would you stock it?

Thanks in advance.

i would go with a dwarf species of mbuna, like saulosi for lake malawi. that way you'll get both colorful males and females. you could also try something from lake tang like a pair of brichardi and shelldwellers. with aulonocara you'll only have one colorful male and 3 or 4 drab brown females.
