I have a 35 gallon tank with
3 peaceful angelfish, 4 zebra danios, 2 rummy nose tetras, 5 serpae tetras, 1 butterfly hill stream loach, 1 sumo loach, 2 Asian bumble bee catfish, and 1 albino bristlenose Pleco
Temp is around 74 and ph is 7.5

What cichlid could I get with this?
Would Firemouth cichlids work or are they too big and aggressive?
I was also considering Blue acara and electric blue acara.
Thanks for your help.

I was also wanting to get a 125 gallon tank.
My ideas were
4 Firemouth cichlids
4 Nicaragua cichlids
4 Electric Blue Acara
2 Delhezi bichir
I was going to have the temp at 78-79 and ph at 7.3-7.4
Do you think this would work?

FMs get too big for a 35, they would probably work in your 125 list.
For the 35 maybe a couple rams, or other dwarf cichlids like Apistos, or I don't usually mix continents, but since you already are mixing them in the tank, maybe an orange chromide, or its similarly small cousin Etroplus maculates or Etroplus canarensis .
canarensis below.

Thanks. Do you think a electric blue or blue acara would work or are they still too big

Ok I am willing to sell them back to the store because they are getting kind of big

why would you sell them back? if there doing good keep them if you just dont want them sell them, but your not gonna be able to put any even a little aggressive cichlids inside your tank with small tetras

The one is not doing so well. I think he/she is getting old or sick. I didnt buy them whenthey were smaller because the pet store I go to only had medium sized ones. the other two were breeding several months ago. I am probably going to sell two of them back cause they have been jerks lately. My pet store have Bolivian rams and German blue rams.

ok, but again the rams are very hard to take care of, you said your temperatures are 78-79 when rams like it around 83, rams are not really aggressive but will either eat or attack all of your tetras

I have the 35 at 73-74 and the 125 would be at 78-79
