I built this fish tank it's 2 1/2 feet by 2 1/2 feet by 9 inches tall and I need some ideas for fish/inverts to put in it as long as it can live it's whole life in there it'll be alright I'll provide any requirements/lighting/aquascaping etc. Like I said any suggestions would be awesome because I really don't know what to get. I was either thinking a colony of some little things or one kinda big thing. Also I know it's a weird shape I just like having tanks to view from above. Thanks for the help peace out.

Neolamprologus multifasciatus could be a fun species to have in their. Might be fun to watch them breed.
How about a Butis Butis, they only get about 5- 6 inches and they float upside down, thats pretty cool. However i think they prefer brackish and can get a little territorial.
