I have a 35 gallon hexagon tank, that i plan to make a community tank of small fish. I would like to have about 3 cories, but idk what else, maybe a few male guppies, couple neons, and a few others..?

Up your cories to at least 5. They like larger groups. Pencilfish, fire tetras, hatchetfish, dwarf rainbowfish (praecox) There's some options to give you color and interesting behaviour. A farlowella cat and a banjo cat would be interesting as well.
