As some of you might know that frequent the marketplace, I was going to sale this 350 gallon tank I have before I move here in a few weeks because I didn't have anyone where I'm moving to help me unload it off the truck. I believe I have that covered now because my future son-in-law is going and I'm thinking I can get a few guys from work there to come out and help me get it in the house and seeing as though it's acrylic, it's really not that heavy.

You can see my current stocklist in my signature below and I'm going to be making me a fishroom where I'm moving to (already told wife that the houses I'm looking at will have a finished basement or spare room). I'm going to be taking the: Chocolates, Silver Dollars (all), Tiger Loach, Pearsei, Bocourti, hecklii and winemilleri. I've already gotten some black tubs to move the fish in and going to pick up a few of these to put inside them:

These are my plans and that is to put them back into the 350 upon arrival as a temporary and put some 1"-2" dovii's into the 75 to growout as I find two 125-150's for a rack. My goal at the end is two have a rack of two 75's, rack of two 125-150's and my 350 dovii tank. I know this might not be a large fishroom to some, but to me it's enough for me to try and take care of with my work and kids. I've built several stands over the years and some have seen them and I do ok with them. I've never done a rack before, however with some of the research I've been doing online, I don't see it being an issue at all to make them.

A few questions I have (that I believe I know), but want to get some others input to what they think will work for the setup. I've never owned a dovii in my 30+ years of fishkeeping and thought I would give it a try because I do love wet pets. The current setup on the 350 is: Eheim 2262, Rena XP3, Odyssea CFS 14I with two koralia wavemakers to move waste around the tank to the intakes. Do you believe this will be enough for a male/female dovii in the 350? I currently have two 300 watt marineland heaters in the tank and was going to switch out to the fluval m series heaters with the protective covers on them (I have one in my 75 and love it). I was thinking I can then use these two marinelands in my other tanks when they are set up. Thoughts?

As for lighting, I'm really thinking of switching over to the Finnex Ray II and Finnex Monster Ray on the 350. I'm currently running 3 LED spotlights on there and I'm just wondering would that $500+ light purchase be worth it for the dovii? I know that Monster Ray would bring out the blues in the colors more and just thinking if that purchase is warranted for that or not? I know this might be an opinionated question that might get different responses, but just curious what you're thoughts are on this subject.

Thanks ahead of time and anymore questions you come up with that I've not thought of yet would be great to add to the discussion. These 125-150's will be quick purchases (not one that is saying i'll get them and then don't) on CL or i'll just get them new. Let the discussion begin and here is a current photo/video of the 350 for reference:

I Love your tank. Very nice set up. Have you seen the fluval E heaters?

Are you going to connect all the tanks to one sump or or have filters for each

I know you said you wanted a Dovii but your 350 is perfect the way it is. Just amazing, I could watch this tank for hours!
But if you are sure you want to keep a dovii pair I think you are good to go. Im not really familiar with all those canister filters but it seems that at least for the time being you have plenty of filtration.
I prefer sumps to canisters but thats just me.

Filters for each. I know a lot like sumps especially for large tanks however I just don't like them. Nothing against their effectiveness or anything, just I prefer to have another tank underneath in these racks.
