So me and a friend of mine are working on stocking a 350 gallon tank in which he plans to house shellies. Now, he has a plan to keep multis on one side, have a rock formation with smaller species of julie in the middle, and a second species of shelly on the other side. He also wants to attempt to keep live snails with them.

We're not experts in shellies and we were wondering a few things:

A. How do you see this set up playing out?
B. What other shellies would you recommend?
C. What do you think the survival rate of the snails will be? And what species would you recommend for this attempt?

I keep multiple shellies in a 110 so footprint of a 75 without issue. I would do multies for sure and then look at the different types and pick another you like. They will not bother the snails. The Julies might, but heard they prefer little crabs.
