I am gonna get a 350 built, it was originally gonna be a 500 but I decided to have a 150 for breeding and a 350 for a agressive community tank. But veija are just not my thing. I am thinking of a amazon themed tank.

You could do an all male amph tank if you want to live on the wild side or you could go the red terror route with some of the complimenting parachromis etc. Really depends on what you enjoy

Amazon is much much easier to do in a community than your last idea of jaguars etc.
Most south American cichlids are much more tolerant of living with each other in close quarters than central americans.
Personally I would do something like green terrors, with some mesoheros atromaculatus and gephyrus/ornatum, some pike cichlids like atabapo red's, and a bunch of guianacara sphenozona. With some non-cichlids like a fancy pleco or two, pinktail chalceus, maybe a flagtail prochilodus.

The terrors, mesoheros, and pikes will all get to about 12". If you want something that gets a little bigger, maybe do less of one of the others, and put a single Oscar into the mix. They can get up to 16".

Ya, I have a 80 gallon grow out with a jack dempesey a green terror a blood parrot convicts fully grown and a Oscar they are all around 5-8” and are doing great, I am pretty sure they are all males and I might wanna try something like that, For a 300 let’s say 2 Green terrors 2 jack dempeseys 2 blood parrots 1 gold Severum 1 green severum 1 Oscar 1 catfish of some sorte and possibly a Problably some dither fish (I have giant danios but I am not sure they would work with some bigger cichlids. What would you choose for dithers? And what other cichlid/fish do you recommend

Pink tail or yellow tail Chalceus in a school can hold their own.

I lost a 7” one to a 17-18” vulture cat but your list doesn’t mention any larger predatory pims
