In the name of practicality and essential need, I am looking to trade out my 350G acrylic bowfront system. This has been a planned project tank for several months - many of you out there have seen this beast in person - but I have come to the conclusion that my critters will be better served with a more traditional tank configuration. Hence, I am looking to make the following trade:
You'd get:
350G acrylic bowfront tank - 67" wide, 49" tall, and 31" front to back at its widest point of curvature - made from 3/4" and 1" acrylic. Tank is rear-drilled for seven bulkhead fittings (mix of 5 x 1" and 3 x 1 1/2"). Clear back (currently has black plastic that can readily be removed).
Fiberglass stand - ~32" tall, shaped to match the curvature of the bowfront, overbuilt for stability. Total height of tank+stand is just under 7'...
The tank will need cleaning and some minor buffing to remove some moderate interior scratches in the bottom 4" of the tank. The openings at the top are plenty wide/deep enough for you to climb inside to clean and polish it.
What I'm looking for:
Acrylic tank that is:
72" or 84" Long x 20-24" Wide x 30-36"+ Tall with a matching stand. Filtration isn't a big issue b/c I have plenty of options already. If you want to add filters or accessories to your part of the trade package, we can work that out.
Regardless, your tank needs to be pretty much turn key and ready to go (e.g., no patching or major cleaning required) as I would likely set it up that same weekend it hits my door.
Depending on the tank size, that will determine the amount of cash (if any) I'd like to have come back to me to close out the trade.
If you are interested in purchasing the bowfront and stand outright, I would be willing to let it go for $900.
