Quick question....
I first started with a fowlr tank. The tank is 75.5"x16"x17"
i have 2 36" light fixture with with dual bulbs. each fixture has 1 30 watt white bulb and 1 blue light bulb. not reef capable. I just recently added a 48" dual t5 lightnfixture. I leave the 2 36" white lights and the 48" t5 bulb on about 6-10hours a day.
Ok well to the point of my post.... i really want to start adding easy starter corals. I already have one 3" mushroom, and i am planning in getting more and possible some soft corals and kenya trees. I was wondering, if I get a single 36" light fixture that is reef capable led or t5 (bascally reef capable), will I be anle to keep soft corals and mushrooms on one side of the tank(within that 36")? i will be leaving the 30watt lights on and the 36" led.
Do you think it'll work?
while im at it, i have a led light (not reef capable) that i leave on my sump about 15-20 hours a day for my chaeto. Am i doing too much? are the lights not good to create photosynthesis?
