Thinking about turning my 35g into a tank for something other than fish, any ideas for me? It'd be my first time keeping something other than fish, but I've been doing a lot of research. I'm looking for something that's not going to outgrow a tank that size for a year or two, and is fairly social. I'd like a critter I can pick up and that won't get stressed out or anything from handling.
Another idea I've been tossing around would be the possibility of a turtle, maybe a slider or a painted turtle in there. I know they're not necessarily a critter you want to be taking out and playing with, but I'm just getting my ideas out to try to get some help.
I just got the tank today, so I need to clean it and build a stand and all before anything else. I just wanted to see if I could get some ideas so that I can start getting little pieces here and there and spread the cost out.
