Hey Everyone, Trying to decide on lighting for an 8'x2'x3' tank. Currently growing out some anubias, java fern, java moss, amazon sword, jungle val, and guppy grass in a 100 gallon tank and a few smaller tanks to transplant. Would like to possible do a carpet plant like dwarf hairgrass or micro swords. Currently running a 4' t5 ho light with 4 54w 6500k bulbs on my 46 bow front and a beamswork fa spec 72" led light on the 100 gallon that is doing great on the plants. What I'm trying to figure out is lighting on the 360 gallon tank. I've looked at building my own light setup using 16 20w par38 led bulbs, 400 watts of led flood lights, 400 watts of rgb controllable flood lights, 32' of 21led lights, 4 48" fluval 3.0's, or even running 8 48" 54w t5 lights. The substrate will definitely built up about 6" or so. Needing lights that will penetrate 30" of water and grow plants. Willing to spend $600-$1000, but also want to be cost conscious. I do have a co2 setup that I can run on this tank. Any insight on lighting setup?
