I am having such a problem with this thing. Ok, so I have my high speed hooked up to my router, and then it goes to me console. The email/msn works and I can see who is online but it willo not let me play against anyone. It says my NAT is OPEN. If thats the problem, can anyone help me to fix it?

We stayed up for like 5 hour connection this thing and it's still not working.

It is probably your firewall settings.

I would see if there is anything on the firewall blocking the 360.

Ok, thanks. Well it's not the NAT because my friends is OPEN and his works. I will disable my firewall.

This is what I did.

Pressed START
When to Connect To
Show All Connections
Clicked ion my High Speed
Clicked "Change Windows Firwall setting"
I put it on ON
Then I alloud all exceptions.

Still doesn't work. BUT their is a bar that says ADD PORT. I think this is what I need to do.

It asks me for NAME and PORT# and if its TCP or UDP. Now im going to try these codes I have here that I got last night to see if it works.

Let me know if theirs anything else I should be doing.

I would try calling Xbox support but they will probably blame it on the router. Try calling the router support aswell thats what I needed to do when I couldn't get my music from the network on my xbox.

Way ahead of you. Idid both of those in the same order and they could only helop me so much. Other then my hard time understanding them, waiting on hold was a real pain. I'm probably try getting some professional in here to do it.

What kind of internet do you have? When I lived with my parents they had crappy DSL and I could never connect to a game.

I was having problems connecting to certain people on Live. I upgraded the firmware on my router and everything has been fine ever since.

Edit: Just thought of this...on my router, there was an option that said "allow gaming" or something to that effect...supposedly it reduces the security level for that port.
