Back in action!
Finally got the 360 going this week. Still some issues with a couple of minor leaks in the plumbing and now that it's full, I see I need to increase lighting substantially. Running 4 x 40 watt bulbs but they barely light the front half of the tank.

Water still has some haze to it, but it doesn't really show up in these pics. These were shot with a wide angle lens from 4 feet away. :naughty:

i am loving the simplicity and the open space in the tank looks amazing nice job

Thanks! I like to showcase the fish and I also don't like to create deadzones for water flow. :)

awesome ! which route did you took?

I am running the same pump internally (mag 24) but changed the output to soft tubing instead of pvc. Too much vibration. Wtih soft tubing, it's almost silent. I'm also running a 75 diy wet/dry and a marineland 360 that was already matured. Transfered sand from the bass and the aro tanks as well as all the water. It's going great so far. No ammonia, no nitrites.

I have to re-do the plumbing going into the ultima since that's where theres' a leak. I used plumbers tape, but either not enough or I might use silicone in the thread as well.

Thanks! :D

Now I need some new fish to add....

More pbass and I'd like Orinos this time, a fei feng, a few more bichirs....:naughty:

Oh, I'm also going to attach some plants to the driftwood, prolly some java fern and maybe a couple of anubias.

OMG! OMG! That tank is sooooo amazing!
