37 gallon stocking

I think the 37 and other very high tanks have an interesting and beautiful aesthetic. These tall tanks with limited length are also very limited for cichlid stockings. If you had a 37 gallon what would you put in it? Dimensions are 30"long x 12"wide, and 22.5" tall.

Apistogramma,black neons and silver hatchet fish.something for all levels.

I was thinking a regani pike for the bottom and some angels for the middle/top might be cool.

It would look nice but I think you would be restricted to just 1 pair of angels in that size footprint. Angels can be surprisingly aggressive when breeding.
They are lovely though,particularly the wild colour types.I have kept them myself in the past and they are great cichlids to own.
