i got a 37 gallon, 30"x12"x pretty deep. i got a 3" firemouth, 2 2"giant danios and a 5" common pleco. can anyone recomend anything else? i was thinking another small cichlid and 3 more danios.

you almost have to add some more danios, as they are schooling fish. i think that with 3 more danios, your tank should be fine as it is, because that pleco will poop, and poop, and poop to no end.

Yeah trade the pleco in and you could also get rid of the danios and have a tank just for firemouths. You could try and breed them.
