I have a semi-planted 37 gallon tank. I have a pair of Rams,5cardinal tetras, and 5 rummy-nose tetras. How many fish can I put in total? What would be a nice bottom feeder for this tank? I have 3 Amazon swords and 3 jungle vals in the tank now. How many plants can I add? What are some nice fore ground plants? Any info will be cool. Thanks and Happy fish keeping!!:headbang2

A 37g tank can support 60-80 small (1-1 1/4") tetras easily with proper filtration. Each ram equals about 10 small tetras, the rummynose equal abot 2 each.
Your current stocking level leaves room for 6 of either skunk or dwarf bandit cories, 4 otos, 6 marbled hatchets or 4 silver hatchets, and 10 more tetras such as pristellas, golds, or blues. Or 10 smaller tetras such as glowlights, red phantoms, coffee beans, embers, flames, or calypsos and 5-6 dwarf pencilfish.
Pygmy swords and java moss make great low foreground plants and cabomba or elodea for larger bunch plants in the background. How many plants? It pretty much depends on your taste.

Thanks Davo and guppy. It's going to be a cool 50% off sale at my local fish store on July 4th and I will get a bunch of stuff then.:headbang2 Thanks!
