I am considering putting a 3D background into a 90g tank. The 90 is 48lx18wx24h. Th background is 48lx24h. How do I manage something like an overflow tank? Do the backgrounds have to be modified?

Depends on what the background is made of? i know the jewel ones are made from fiberglass if i'm not mistaken... in other words it would be pretty hard to modify... if you can find them, there are foam ones... i have one i am using on my tank and that was easy as anything to cut through where needed...
