Making a background for my 30L. I'm going to start breeding convict cichlids again, and I thought it would be cool to make a background for them. For one of the rocks i took two pieces of styrofoam carved the middles out and made a cave. These concrete backgrounds are great, they look great and are easy to make. This is my fourth tank I've done it to.

I'll be done by the weekend, then i have to fill and drain it a few times to get the extra concrete materials off. Then it's ready to start cycling.

I'll let it run for a week and do a few water changes before i add the prime or start to cycle it. I like to make sure i have all the extras off the concrete. I'll post some pics when it clears up.

Thanks! No color. Just the concrete resurfacer.
