My son recently got a 3D printer and wants to print something to put in the fish tank like an octopus or crab or something. My first quotation is would this be fish safe? From what i can find online the PLA filament should be inert but the colorants used in them are not always disclosed. Does anyone have experience out information on this?
My second concern is as with other decor items it will likely be very bouyant and need to be anchored or allowed to free float. Something we can figure out ourselves once we can determine if the material is aquarium safe or not.
Thanks for any input or infirmary you might have.
